Today UConn All-American Maya Moore was named the
Big East Player of the Week for the fourth time this season after averaging 23.5ppg, 8.5rpg, 4apg, 1.5spg, and 1bpg while leading UConn to a 2-0 Big East record for the week including a 31-point, eight-rebound performance in the Huskies 79-76 road win at 13/12 Notre Dame. Moore has scored at least 30 points ten times in her career and she also became the 45th player in NCAA Division I history to score 2,500 career points.
