Another former UConn Husky has been added to the Team Concept roster. And due to injuries Phillips (ankle) is out and Hunter (knee) is doubtful (and will be re-evaluated in the next few days) for Thursday's exhibition.
Preseaon starts tonight! And thanks to our good friend Sybil, fans can check out all of the results from their favorite teams and rivals. Team Concept, who UConn plays this Thursday, plays its first game tonight at Virginia, who UConn plays Dec. 18th. It's a homecoming for both Geno (former asst. coach) and Tonya (former player and Kodak HM All-America).
Another 2008 UConn hopeful committed today, but not to the Husky Blue & White. 5'8 point guard Shay Selby from Ohio verbally committed to the Blue Devils Blue & White as she chose Duke over Ohio State after visiting Durham this past weekend, making another dream come true.
Don't miss Swin Cash on Oprah today at 4pm on CBS. She will appear with Hollywood god Denzel Washington to promote his new book "A Hand To Guide Me".
In recruiting news, UConn hopeful Alicia Manning has narrowed her decisions on college down to 5. She visited Tennessee this past weekend and UConn during the Supershow (both with her friend and fellow UConn hopeful Caroline Doty). Doty is apparently close to finalizing her decision.

Yet another UConn hopeful will be at this week's exhibition game versus Team Concept, Elena DelleDonne continues her recruiting process with another unofficial visit to Storrs to see DT, Bird, Conlon, and Rita Williams take on UConn Nov. 2nd.
I have decided to draw inspiration from the great folks over at Women's Hoops Blog and create a blog dedicated to my favorite team the UConn Huskies Women's Basketball Team. I was a cheerleader for the team for 4 years during the 2000-04 seasons (yes all 4 years with DT3) and was able to cheer at 4 Final Fours and for 3 straight NCAA Championships (and yes I have 3 rings). I hope you all enjoy this blog as much as I will enjoy posting on it. Please feel free to leave comments or suggestions or let me know if you'd like to become a member and post on my blog.

For my first blog post, the CPTV Schedule was finally released yesterday. To no suprise (but the delight of UConn fans who get CPTV), the wonderful folks at CPTV are televising EVERY game not televised by one of the big boy channels. Here is the completely updated schedule.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
