Summary: UConn All-American candidate Tiffany Hayes bounced back from her worst game of the season against Stanford to lead the Huskies with 22pts. in just 24mins. as they moved to 3-0 in the Big East with a huge win over Villanova, 81-35. UConn All-American Maya Moore narrowly missed her first-ever triple-double finishing with 16pts., 9rebs., and 7asts. while adding 3stls. in only 26mins. Moore is now only four points shy of becoming the 45th player in NCAA history to score at least 2,500 points. Fr. Bria Hartley tallied 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field to score in double-figures in 13 of her first 14 collegiate games. It was also her 12th straight game in doing so. Kelly Faris scored just three points but pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds, all coming off the defensive glass. With tonight's win, UConn extends its home win streak to 70 consecutive games to break the mark of 69 held by its own program (2000-04) and Tennessee (1991-96).
