Summary: UConn All-American Maya Moore struggled with her shot, but still finished with her 3rd straight double-double (17pts. and 16rebs.) as the Huskies broke open a close game by scoring the first 13 points of the second half to handily defeat Rutgers 63-44. UConn All-American candidate Tiffany Hayes returned from getting poked in the eye in the first minute of the game to score a team-high 18pts. Fr. Stefanie Dolson played a career-high 32mins. scoring 7pts. and grabbing 8rebs. and fellow Fr. Bria Hartley chipped in 13 of her 15 points in the 2nd half for UConn which has won seven straight since its record 90-game winning streak came to an end against Stanford on Dec. 30th. The Huskies have won 58 consecutive conference games, with the last loss coming at Rutgers on Feb. 5, 2008.
