Today UConn's Sr. Maya Moore was also named the 2010-11 Associated Press Women's National Player of the Year while her head coach Geno Auriemma was named the 2010-11 Associated Press Women's National Co-Coach of the Year. Moore received 37 out of the 39 possible votes and has now won the award for the 2nd time in her career. Auriemma, who shared the award with Stanford's Tara VanDerveer and Miami's Katie Meier as each received 10 votes, has taken home AP Coach of the Year honors seven times, including three times in the last four years.
