Summary: Even with a bum knee, UConn Sr. All-American wasn't going to be denied a 4th and final trip to the Final Four nor her 3,000th career point. With 7:39 left in the game and Moore sitting on 2,998pts. and a trip to Indy all but locked up, she left the game after banging knees with a Duke defender. She slowly got up and jogged over to the bench as Auriemma called time out. After riding the stationary bike on the sideline, Moore returned to with 4:46 to play and with 3:45 left to play would take and make only one more shot for the game. That beautiful fouline jumper for career point 3,000 was nothing but net. Moore finished the game with 28pts., 10rebs., 1ast., a career-high 7stls, and 2blks. as UConn dominated Duke 75-40 to reached their 4th consecutive and 12th overall Final Four. She becomes only the 7th player in the history of NCAA Women's D-I Basketball to eclipse the 3,000 point mark. Fr. Bria Hartley poured in 14pts., 6rebs, and 6asts. while Jr. Tiffany Hayes overcame first half foul trouble to chip in 11pts. and 5asts. Fr. Stefanie Dolson pounced back from a rough game Georgetown with 12pts. and 6rebs. UConn will now face Big East rival 2-seed Notre Dame for the 4th time this season in the second national semifinal game of the 2011 Final Four in Indianapolis, IN on Sunday, April 3 at 9:30pm ET on ESPN.
