Summary: Today UConn unveiled its 7th NCAA Title banner and Tiffany Hayes netted a career-high 32 points as the 2-time defending champs rolled over Holy Cross, 117-37. Hayes' tallied 30 points in the first half, marking a UConn record for most points scored in a half. Her 12-made FG's also marked a career-high. At the 17:54 mark in the second half, Maya Moore moved into sole possession of second place on UConn's all-time scoring list as she surpassed Kerry Bascomb (2,177) and Nykesha Sales (2,178) with 21 points in today's contest. Moore now has 2,189 in 117 career games and is 157 points shy of former teammate Tina Charles' record of 2,346. Five UConn players registered double figures, while freshmen Bria Hartley and Samarie Walker came off the bench to score 18 and 12 points, respectively, in their collegiate debuts. Kelly Faris tallied 15 points and camevery close to a triple-double with 7 assists and a game-high 9 rebounds.
