They laid the hammer down and laid it down quick and early. A balanced effort from everyone led UConn to a 84-51 easy victory over Boston U. last night. Led by the entire Jr. class, the Huskies showed not only did they bond and develop more chemistry from their trip in Italy but that they want to crush there opponents ASAP (which we haven't had in recent years) as the Huskies again were up 30-something pts. at the half leading 46-15. Geno was able rest his starters and injured players for much of the 2nd half as well as avoided an even bigger rout of Boston U. He was happy with what got accomplished early and allowed his bench to get more PT and experience which will be needed down the road. The only player to get a DNP was Phillips who is evidently in the "dog house".
