UConn freshman W Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis was named the Big East Freshman of the Week for the 8th time in her career after helping UConn to a 2-1 week while averaging 20 ppg. In a game at Pittsburgh, she had 23 points, going 9-of-12 from the floor. At Marquette, Mosqueda-Lewis had 27 points and seven rebounds. In the regular-season finale, she had 10 points, shooting 50 percent from the floor against No. 3/3 Notre Dame. She is now all alone in 2nd for most Freshman of the Week honors all-time.
