Sr. G Tiffany Hayes, who was honored prior to the game as UConn's lone Senior), was held to 8pts. and committed 7 TO's in her 1st-ever home-court defeat. St. John's was led by Sr. F Da'Shena Stevens and Jr. G Nadirah McKenith's 15pts., who hadn't defeated the Huskies since 1993 while UConn was led by Fr. W Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis's 12pts. and W C Kiah Stokes' 11pts., both off the bench.
