Today is a chance for old friends to get reacquainted as the Huskies visit Virginia in their brand new arena the John Paul Jones Arena. Geno is returning to his coaching roots and Tonya is returning to her old playing ground. He also says he's jealous of the new arena and will be taking notes to bring back to CT in hopes of maybe getting a new and improved Gampel Pavilion. This will only be the 5th meeting and first since the biggest game in UConn history when the undefeated Huskies rallied late in Storrs to defeat the Cavaliers 67-63 and moved on to their 2nd Final Four & 1st NCAA Championship 1995 between the two storied programs, but this time it's UConn doing Virginia the favor.
