Houston and Montgomery have been named 2 of the top-50 candidates for the Naismith National Player of the Year award. The list will be narrowed down to 30 in January. I don't know who is on the committee that decides the list, but they need to check some boxscores before they go placing players on the list. They also need to check and find out who is actually still playing and if they even play for that team----hello and wake up committee----Angela Clark left St. John's like 6 weeks ago----read a newspaper or at least a message board for that matter!!!! And the sick obsession with Maryland's entire starting 5 has to stop...i mean they are all good and all, but they are all NOT player of the year candidates...I would say only Coleman, Langhorne, and Toliver.
