Today UConn Fr. Bria Hartley was named Big East Freshman of the Week for the sixth time this season after averaging 20ppg and shooting 62.5 percent from the field, including 42.9 percent from beyond the 3-point arc, to help lead the Huskies to wins over No. 12/14 Oklahoma and No. 8/8 Notre Dame by an average of 31 points per game. Against Oklahoma, Hartley had 11 points, going 5-of-9 from the floor. In the win against Notre Dame, she had 29 points and five assists, connecting on 10 of her 16 shots, including 5-of-9 from long-range. Against the Irish and also posted a pair of thefts in 37-minutes of action. Hartley registered career highs in points (29), field goals made (10), 3-point field goals made (5), and free throw attempts (6).
