Summary: UConn All-American Maya Moore finished with 34 points on 14-of-16 shooting from the floor as UConn pulled away early in the 2nd half against to defeat previously unbeaten (in the Big East) DePaul 89-66. The senior added 11rebs and 6asts. for her 47th career double-double. Fr. Stefanie Dolson scored a career-high 21pts. to go along with 6rebs. and 2asts. and So. Kelly Faris chipped in a career-high 9asts. (most on gorgeous feeds to the streaking Moore). A few NCAA records were established in this game as well: Maya Moore scored in double figures for the NCAA-record 135th game (playing in only her 139th game; the record was previously held by Oklahoma's Courtney Paris, 134 out of 137 career games) and Tiffany Hayes became the fastest player in NCAA History to win her 100th game (playing in only her 101st game; the record previously held by UConn's own Maya Moore and Lorin Dixon who won their 100th game in their 102nd game). UConn also continued its NCAA-record home winning streak by posting its 74th consecutive victory on its home court.
