Summary: It wasn't pretty. Nough said. UConn All-American candidate So. F Breanna Stewart had her fourth straight double-double with 12pts. and 12rebs. and the Huskies held Cincinnati scoreless for the game's first six minutes and led 16-0 before pulling away again in the 2nd half to blowout Cincinnati, 67-34. UConn So. G Moriah Jefferson and All-American Sr. G Bria Hartley each added 12 points for the Huskies which won its first ever American Athletic Conference game despite being held 19 points below its season average. Prior to the start of the game, UConn honored their national championship teams from 2003 and 2004, unveiling banners on the arena's wall of honor. Several former players attended the ceremony, but star Diana Taurasi was not among them. She is playing basketball overseas.
