Summary: UConn Sr. All-American and 2-time Wade Trophy winner, Maya Moore became the school's all-time scoring leader as the Huskies improved to 8-0 on the year as they beat Sacred Heart 86-32. Moore, who entered the contest needing eight points to tie Tina Charles' record of 2,346 career points, tallied her record-breaking 2,347th -point at the 12:42 mark of the first half to surpass Charles, who held the top spot since last season. She went a perfect 7-of-7 in the first frame as she finished the day with 17 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the floor and added seven rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots. Moore now has 2,355 career points in 124 career games. Congrats, Maya...you simply are the best!!! UConn All-American candidate Tiffany Hayes led the Huskies in scoring with 18pts. while Fr. Lauren Engeln game off the bench and scored a career-high 8pts. in a career-high 15mins.
