Consensus...

Connecticut's Maya Moore completed the sweep of the five major 2008-09 WCBB National Player of the Year honors today after being named the winner of the 2009 Women's John Wooden Award. She is also the AP, Naismith, USBWA, and WBCA's National Player of the Year. In the Wooden Award voting, Moore finished with 176 points, followed by Oklahoma's Courtney Paris with 133 points, Louisville's Angel McCoughtry with 101 points, fellow Connecticut teammate Renee Montgomery with 97 points, and Maryland's Kristi Toliver with 68 points.

Also...McCoughtry, Montgomery, Moore, and Paris are also finalists for the 2009 Honda Sports Award for the nation's top collegiate female basketball player (the Honda Award recognizes winners in all 12 NCAA-sanctioned female sports).
