Led by the UConn All-American candidate duo of So. G Bria Hartley (18p/7r/2a/4s) and Fr. W Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis (19p/8r/1s), the Huskies punched, got punched, and finally counterpunched back a very physical and experienced Notre Dame squad into a 63-54 victory as well as a 5th-consecutive and 18th overall Big East Championship. UConn has now gone 19 straight seasons with at least a Big East Regular Season or Tournament Championship title. Sr. G Tiffany Hayes chipped in a very hard earned 14pts., 8rebs.
