The quest for their Tennessee-tying 6th Women's NCAA title begins tonight. They will be led by their unquestionable leader, General Montgomery. Geno admits the feel-good preseason leaves him wary, but he hopes the offense is ready and they (the freshmen) don't suffer 'stage' fright tonight. So as the Huskies look to rev up the offense, Geno says there is no reason to think his team can't score 80-85 a night. The team opens tonight with no seniors, he is looking to depend on the juniors and understands anything to go wrong in the first game. And as we saw from the 2 exhibition games, the Huskies are big upfront and have the potential to be a force inside--no we just wait for that potential to translate into consistent dominance!! For the 2006-07 Huskies, tonight it's time to get real.
