For those of you who are interested in attending the 2007 Paradise Jam, here is more info on the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam Tournament. While all that is listed is the 2006 Paradise Jam info...offered is a better understanding of the tournament--well actually tournaments. You see, the Paradise Jam has two divisions...the St. John's and the St. Thomas. Now while the CT Post reported 6 teams participating in a 6-team field with all the teams guaranteed to play 3 games each (now if all us math freaks of the world do the math--we will realize 6 teams cannot play in a guaranteed 3 games each tournament--8 teams are needed--which is how many they have had each year in the tournament's history of 2 divisions (4 teams per division)), both divisions this year call for 4 teams each...meaning next year's tournament is either different or there are really 8 teams going and the CT Post only has info on 6 of the 8 attending. If the latter is true then no one has any clue on who will be in each division. The only thing I'm guessing is that if there are 2 divisions and since we play Purdue in a home and away series this year and next, (in all likelihood) we probably wouldn't be in the same division as them.

I guess my point is to hold off on booking your tickets until it is finalized on where and when UConn is actually playing.
