Today Connecticut's Sophomore Sensation Maya Moore was named the 2008-09 USBWA National Player of the Year while Connecticut's Head Coach Geno Auriemma was named the 2008-09 USBWA Coach of the Year for the 2nd consecutive season (4th overall). Moore and teammate Renee Montgomery were named to the 2008-09 USBWA All America Team. (Again, who is watching the games because Tina Charles is clearly one of the 11 Best in the Nation)
