P/R/A = Points + Rebounds + Assists totals
EFF = Efficiency Rating [(Pts. + Rebs. + Asts. + Stls. + Blks.) - (FGM + FTM + TOs)]
+/- = Plus/Minus Rating (amount score increases/decreases during time player is on the court)
Thanks TJ...this stuff is great. I think one adjustment that may have to be made is determining at what point in the game P/M values reflect. The importance of the players P/M when the lead went from 12 to over 20 in a matter of minutes as opposed to , let's say, the middle of the 4th quarter when the game was no longer in doubt should be reflected somehow.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the time and patience for that, but alas even I don't have the time. Also have a FT job to worry about. But thanks for the comments (and the suggestion)!! I think a simple eye test will show who was on the floor when game mattered.
