Today the WNBA announced that the Connecticut Sun have traded G Lindsay Whalen and the #2 overall pick in the 2010 WNBA Draft to the Minnesota Lynx in exchange for G Renee Montgomery and the #1 overall pick in the 2010 WNBA Draft. Both players were the #4 overall pick in their respective drafts (Whalen - 2004 and Montgomery - 2009) as well as the star of their college teams for 4 years (Whalen - Minnesota and Montgomery - Connecticut).
